My Perfect Valentine...

Well, the gifts were nice too but I was referring to my sweet SWEET sweet Hubby Russell! When I woke up this morning he had breakfast cooking and a card and chocolates sitting on the couch as I came down the stairs, with a very sweet cd! So then the doorbell rings...I ran away with my ugly pjs on and came back down to see that a beautiful flower arrangement was delivered for me as well! So yeah, the gifts were great, but Russell is my perfect Valentine!!!! Happy Valentine's Day!

well, baby mackay had "his" first photo take today!! So exciting but what a terrible experience with the lady, she sucked, so rude, so rushed, but at least I got to see and hear our little one! Next appt with the doctor is March 10th, we will keep you updated, next ultra sound should be in about 10 more weeks, so about the end of April to find out if its a boy or a girl!

Hawaii at last!

So on January 5th we found out we are pregnant!! Yay, a long wait, but, to top it off we decided no better time, LETS GO TO HAWAII!! It was so nice, I loved the weather and Russell showed me an awesome hike and it was so great! We even had a mid-evening walk on the beach! So fun! We also went snorkling for my first time at Hanama Bay and got first class on the way home from the island of Maui! Great trip!!!

Bringing in the new year....Wii!

At Becca's we brought in the new year with mom and dad and got a fun work out...with the Wii! First we made mom and dad's Mii...it was funny cause dad didn't want grey hair and mom couldn't decide on her body size! It was fun though...and we even made it to midnight!

err...well rode with the Cool Runnings coach with his Bobsled team made up of Marriott workers from Park City. Russ said this was an opportunity of a lifetime, it was thrilling and so amazing! Many of the workers couldn't even keep their heads up due to the G-forces but due to Russ being built like a block he could at least keep it up on his shoulders! They even made olympic time!

Maser's first HAIRCUT

I gave Mason (our neighbor's matt and jordyn's little boy) his very first haircut to rid the mullet. He did very well we just did it over a towel and with some scissors. Yay! good job Maser!

Winter Visit with Annie and Susie

So our girls made their way down to cold Utah in December. I had their christmas presents ready and we had a great time! Annie is definitely smaller than her little sister Susie but they are just so happy! We started the visit with Grandma at McD's (girls choice) because they had my little pony toys. We opened Susie's birthday gifts (from November) which she loved her pink dragon and then we were off in the snow to the movie theatre. We went to an old theatre in Murray that had almost no one in the place (but they do have kettle corn popcorn! cool!) We watched Bolt! and tried to get some pictures while the girls were in good spirit. Then off to Starbucks for some hot cocoa to top off the day before they headed to the airport...and their christmas surprises! We got both the girls many of the same gifts just maybe different theme etc. My favorite was the I am a child of God necklaces. When we put them on the girls it was like a little church movie moment when Annie read upside down "I am a child of God!" It was so cute and such a wonderful time, they are really coming around, and Emily was quite civil as well! Great visit though...next one coming in March!

Water Park!

We had a great time at the water park, Slidewaters up in Washington. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed it! It was also amazing that everyone who went enjoyed all the slides...OK....almost everyone!

Arches and Moab!

Yep we went to Arches...and then to Moab, weird it goes with the title! Anywho we left at 6 this morning for a much needed break (mainly my man) and drove down to almost perfect weather (a little windy) It was great though we did The Devil's Garden along the Primitive Loop (which means you have to pay attention to tiny rocks along the way telling you you're still on the path cause you're in desert sand and scaling huge rock formations) Then we went and ate at Zax's Pizza in Moab for lunch, YUCK, don't waste your time or money there. Overpriced and the pizza was pretty nasty! Okay then we hiked the Delicate Arch and got some really good pictures...well for being all sweaty and stuff. We are champs we hiked over 13 miles today! It was beautiful down there!

So it's been awhile, not much new in this MacKay household though! My mom used her free flight benefits, and so did I for that matter. I got to go down and see my grandma right before she took a turn for the worse. It's fun to be able to hop on any plane and go anywhere. Wednesday we are driving though...down to Moab, we need to get some hiking in before it gets too hot down there! Some of the plans this summer are to, go to each of our homes a couple times, go to a Yankee's game in July (just because they are closing that stadium this year)(Go Red Sox!!) and hopefully to Cedar Point with Matt and Jordyn...depends on miss prego! Anyways for our anniversary we are thinking of going when winter hits to Hawaii...appreciate the warmth better then! Oh and I also put a couple pictures of my two favorite kids Cooper and Addy! I would also like to go out and see Cassi this summer too!

Jordyn said I need to post so here goes! I am bad at using this, can't remember how to do everything etc. But not much has been going on I did get accepted to start training for a flight attendant, after a great interview with Skywest that I felt I nailed, to a terrible one in Chicago that I felt would never end! Anyways so I start that on February 26 up in Salt Lake for 24 days, and Russ for school will be gone to what they call a residency (basically a weeklong conference of 10 hour days of lectures etc. on top of the work he already has!) He will be gone for that Feb 12-17 so I will have no Valentine (with me) this year, I guess it will just be a taste of what life will be like where ever I end up. Which I will find out at the end of training so end of March WEIRD!!
Now for the roomate reunion, it was fun I picked up Rache and she freaked me out a couple of times with her contraction talk since she is full term now. But we all met at Jason's Deli (I had never been there, very good and a really fun atmosphere!) It was Rache Megs Audra and myself. I'm wondering if Rache had her little girl yet, she wasn't at church on Sunday and her car was gone when I drove by afterwards AH!!
I couldn't take my bedroom anymore, so I moved it around and now I LOVE IT! Before there was no usable space, you walked in pathways, now you can do a dance in half of it if you wanted to!! I love it!

The visit went really well actually! Emily was actually conversational and was even laughing "with" us at certain points, and she did not put random body parts in all the pictures. She actually let me take them, so therefore we got some good ones!! Well this is my first go at a BLOG so here I go!! We started the visit going to the movie Enchanted. It was really fun! Susie had been sick the day before puking, but you wouldn't even know it the way she was running around and eating all of her candy some of Annie's and some of mom's popcorn and POP! She is just as big as Annie and they were both dolls for the day! Then we went to Build a Bear and they both picked out the first biggest animal they saw...Clarice (Rudolph's girlfriend, they were out of Rudolph, which Annie really wanted) They both loved them so much, they even put two hearts inside of them instead of just one! They both got a cute little winter cape thing that went over her and then we were off to lunch in the cafeteria thing at the Gateway. I snuck away to grab their Christmas backpacks that we had put together and left at my friends salon around the corner. Russ even said that Annie was worried where I went, she wanted me to be at lunch with them! Cute! So I came back and immediately put the backpacks on the ground before they could see them, cause they needed to eat first. Annie kept trying to peak! So then it was time to reveal, we had them both come over and we handed the backpacks to them!! They loved them, not so excited about what was inside as wanting to put them on RIGHT NOW! So we got them both on them and they ran in circles trying to see into the other sister's to see what was in them. We couldn't show them what was inside them because Emily didn't want us to get the stuff out but WOW what a hit!! So then we walked around and made secret potions in the fire barrells that they have randomly outside to warm yourself in (evil potions because of the Enchanted influence on us :) Then it was time to say goodbye, I got one kiss and a hug from each girl and I told them to hug their dad as well. I am very comfortable using the word Dad now so that is great, and hopefully things will just keep getting better and better. I won't count on it knowing Emily, but at least this one went VERY WELL!!!
